Amber uses GeoFencing to help ensure student are on-site at their clincial rotation site before being permitted to clock in or out. GeoFencing can has a default of 250 meters from the central GPS coodinates of the facility. However, coordinators may want to widen or decrease the fence as needed. Use the map as a reference, relative to the facility to decide how close the student needs to be before being allowed to clock in our out of their clinical shift.

General Notes
Be sure to be there at least 15 minutes before the start of the shift. Know that it may take quite some time to walk from the parking lot to the department. The department is on the second foor temporarily while construction occurs.
Parking
You may park on the street if you can find an open spot. Otherwise you may use the paid parking structure. This has a $3 a day charge, unless the department is willing to validate your parking. The don't have a lot of parking passes so be prepared to pay parking if they are out of their quota for the month.
Security Considerations
You must bring your name badge fore the facility to allow access to secured areas and because we have such agreement with the hospital. Failure to bring you badge will result in being sent home to retrieve it and this could mean a missed clinical shift, which must made up during the course of the semester. This will also caused point deduction in your daily scores.
